Nestled on a hillside in Kurakuen in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan is the Case Study house by architect Kenji Yanagawa. Due to the hillside location of the house, it boasts a unique design that is capped off by the ingenious vertical elevator garage that houses the owner’s daily drives, which include a Ferrari, Porsche and a mean looking Honda S2000. Visible from the house’s interior, the elevator shaft pushes the surrounding rooms outwards over the slope. The house boasts an airy, glass-filled design but really, it’s all about that stunning elevator garage.
I NEED THIS FUCKING HOUSE. OH MY GOD.
It’s a week before the highly anticipated and already heavily critiqued album entitled ‘Yeezus’ from famed Chicago rap god, Kanye West. The LP will be released on June 18 on Island Def Jam, and A-listers’ ears got first dibs at the listening party on Monday.
Notable partygoers included Kanye’s BFF Jay-Z and the lovely Beyonce Knowles-Carter, Rachel Roy, Marcella Lindeberg, Aziz Ansari, Joan Smalls, Peter Dundas, Maxwell Osborne, Victor Cruz, Theophilus London, Timbaland, John McGuire, and Virgil Abloh (all pictured).
The lyrical and production genius introduced the album in true Yeezy fashion: “I’ll let the music do all the talking; I don’t got shit else to say.”
…well there you go.
